Our initial production run will be 500 units which we hope will keep us running for enough time that our customers will get these in a timely manner. We expect at current production that the beta samples will be in independent testing within the next few months. Production deliveries will follow as soon as the beta test units have verified the design.

Production aside, we are extremely pleased with this caliber. With help from Hornady this unit has not only been extensively tested but has proven itself to be very capable in the field. At the recent Big 3 Event hosted by David Fortier we ran 2 rifles out to ranges of 400 yards and despite windy conditions which made shooting challenging the guns performed well. This is right on the back of taking 2 different guns to Blackwater and running them through the advanced tactical carbine course. While running guns at the Big 3 we had an opportunity to run one of the rifles with the excellent magnum rimfire silencer from Thunderbeast Arms Corp. The rifle exhibited a slight shift in zero and ran without a hitch for the two days of the event. This unscheduled test provided a quick insight into the flexibility of the rifle and everyone agreed that this combination would serve well for any varminting purposes.

We recently conducted an extensive series of high speed video filming of the 17 HMR in its firing cycle to verify bolt speed and ejection cycle. We should be able to post this short video of this very soon.
